Job Summary
The Shipping & Logistics Officer will support the coordination and monitoring of domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate shipping documentation. The role involves liaising with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters and clearing agents, tracking shipments, maintaining logistics records, and supporting inventory and warehouse coordination. The officer will also assist with logistics reporting, administrative documentation, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in preparing shipping and export documentation.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and clearing agents.
- Track containers and provide regular shipment updates.
- Maintain logistics records and filing systems.
- Support inventory and warehouse coordination activities.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare logistics reports and other administrative documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Maritime Studies, or related discipline.
- NYSC members or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of shipping, import/export processes, or freight operations is an added advantage.
